Description
Nordic Naturals Prenatal DHA is a food supplement in softgel form, unflavoured. Each serving (2 softgels) provides 830 mg of total omega-3s, including 205 mg of EPA and 480 mg of DHA, plus 10 µg (400 IU) of vitamin D3. This pack contains 90 softgels (45 servings).
Maternal intake of DHA contributes to the normal brain and eye development of the foetus and breastfed infants. The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 200 mg of DHA in addition to the recommended daily intake of omega-3 fatty acids for adults (250 mg of DHA and EPA). Vitamin D contributes to the maintenance of normal bones and teeth and to the normal function of the immune system.
